Free Session Content

Quick follow-up for you. While she was here for the user group Kelli mentioned that she received a lot of questions around NIWeek content and specifically Continuous Integration development techniques. If you are interested, she pointed us to a couple links full of free NIWeek presentation content.

Specifically, these are the SEPAD sessions (Software Engineering Processes Architecture and Design) put on by LabVIEW Champions and other technical leaders.

Find the SEPAD sessions here.
Find the Continuous Integration sessions here.

Enjoy!

Post Your Code!

Post your Code

Thank you all for an incredible user group meeting last Thursday! We got some great information on What's New in LabVIEW, and saw a quick peek at some really creative coding challenge solutions.

For those of you who created solutions, please post them to the NI Community page! You can find it here: https://forums.ni.com/t5/Minneapolis-LabVIEW-User-Group/gp-p/5112

Posting your code will be very helpful to the rest of us to learn how you implemented your solution, and will hopefully teach us even more.  Please post even if you didn't have a chance to present your solution yet.

For those of you who did not create solutions, I encourage you to check out the community page and browse the posted solutions. There is always more to learn.

Thank you!

Will

Will Schoettler awarded LabVIEW Champion!

Very exciting news – our very own Will Schoettler was awarded the status of LabVIEW Champion by National Instruments!

This is a great honor and we are excited to continue working with LabVIEW to do some amazing things.

From the National Instruments website:

A LabVIEW Champion is a top tier, National Instruments Platform enthusiast who has been recognized by National Instruments for their EXCEPTIONAL application development, technical depth and breadth, and leadership and contributions to the LabVIEW community.
A LabVIEW Champion is the first to stand up and defend the NI Platform, but still has a healthy sense of critical evaluation of the platform, always pushing it to be easier to use and more powerful. The key is our Champions are positive contributors.
LabVIEW Champions are also credible technology experts from around the world who inspire others to learn and grow with LabVIEW through active technical community participation and face-to-face interactions.
LabVIEW Champions are not employees of National Instruments nor do they speak on National Instruments’ behalf. LabVIEW Champions are third party individuals who have received recognition from National Instruments for their outstanding contributions to the success of LabVIEW.
